ABOUT US
Paragliding School and Flight Park
Aerial Paragliding offers an unmatched learning environment for paragliding instruction. An assortment of training hills and flying sites allow our award-winning instructors to help students progress naturally and safely into the sport of paragliding.
We believe it is important to build a strong foundation of skills and knowledge that you will utilize and build on throughout your flying career. Our goal is to produce a well-rounded pilot and to help you attain the level of proficiency and confidence necessary to safely advance your experience.
2,200+ acres of pristine private land
Aerial Paragliding operates primarily from the rolling hills of what is known as “The Ranch”. This 2200+ acre privately owned flight park is the premier place to turn your paragliding dream into a reality. Launching and landing are among the most decisive skills to master in order for a paraglider pilot to safely soar the skies. With roads that access multiple groomed launch sites, it is easy to perform many flights each day, enabling you to progress quickly and confidentially. At many other learning locations, it can be challenging to get more than 1 or 2 flights in a day. At the Ranch, with good weather, you can get as many as 12 flights in a day!
We offer an all-inclusive training facility, including a classroom for ground school, a paragliding equipment store, complimentary Wifi and a comfortable setting to unwind. There is also affordable lodging nearby that is available during your training.
PHILOSOPHY
Learn at your own pace
Utilizing our 20 years of teaching experience at The Ranch we continue to refine our methodical training program and comprehensive syllabus which has allowed us to efficiently and successfully direct our students through the training process. Because of the variety in lifestyle schedules, and the pace and style of individual learning, we tailor our programs based on your availability and needs as a student, as well as the constraints of weather. We are never in a hurry to get students "signed off" and certified; instead, we patiently ensure that you are ready to enjoy safe piloting, on your own. This means that your training may exceed the USHPA (US Hang gliding and Paragliding Association) minimum requirement of 35 flights over 7days.
